TECHNOLOGY

cost-efficient with over 99% removal rate

reusable filter technology

We have developed an effective and cost-efficient technology for selective removal of mercury from fluids. The patent-pending technology is the result of several years of research at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is unaffected by pH and high temperatures and can be applied in a large number of areas.

    advantages

    compared to conventional methods

    Effective

With a removal rate over 99% down to ppt-levels, our electrochemical filter is exceptionally effective at targeting low concentrations of mercury and ensuring clean water.

    Selective

By selectively targeting mercury our filter does not waste capacity on other substances, making it the ideal choice for situations where mercury is the problem.

    Sustainable

Being reusable and incredibly energy-efficient, our solution is superior to today’s consumable products in terms of sustainability.

    reversible alloy formation

a complex process, in three simple steps

Through a cyclic process of alternating saturation and regeneration of the electrodes through alloy formation, we have created an efficient method of mercury removal where the only by-product is a small amount of highly-concentrated mercury solution.
